My name is Austin Byers, owner of Current Electrical Services. I’m a licensed Master Electrician serving Greenbrier County and the surrounding areas. My wife, Albany, and I are proud to call this community home, along with our two dogs, Remi and Evie.
I got my start in residential electrical work over 8 years ago, but early on I knew I wanted to push myself further. After about 8 months in residential, I transitioned into large-scale commercial electrical work, where I spent the next 6.5 years gaining hands-on experience on major projects. Over time, I worked my way up to running full crews as a foreman, managing jobs, coordinating teams, and making sure projects were completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
That experience gave me the confidence and skillset to take the next step.
After years of traveling long hours—sometimes 2 hours each way—I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business. In October 2024, Current Electrical Services was born. Since then, I’ve stayed consistent, focused, and committed to building something I can be proud of right here in my hometown.
Today, I bring both residential and commercial experience to every job. Whether it’s a service upgrade, generator installation, new construction, or troubleshooting a problem, my goal is simple: Do the job right, be honest, and take care of people.
I take pride in showing up when I say I will, communicating clearly, and treating every home or business with the same respect I would my own. I believe in quality work, clean job sites, and building long-term relationships with my customers.
